This site has very basic and easy to understand information about home fire safety, smoke alarms, and escaping from fire.
It also includes a quiz for children to take. There are coloring pages, crosswords, and a “Hazard House” for

This site provides information about arson dogs and their jobs. It has a list of Fire Lessons that leads to pages with information
on High Rise Fire, Fireplace Safety Rules and Holiday Safety Tips. This site also includes photos of firefighters in action,

This is a very simple site geared towards very young children. It introduces various “friends” that provide fire
safety information such as “Buzzy the Smoke Detector” and “Squirt the Water Drop”. The characters

This is another child friendly site, although it did have some distracting advertisement flashing at the top. There is a
set of 6 pictures of firefighters doing various parts of their job that can be downloaded and colored. It also has a variety
of crafts to make such as firemen hats, books and other fire prevention crafts. It features some great ideas.

This is a fun site that introduces Bud the Dog, Dan the Fireman, and the Red Hot Dot. A nice feature of this site is a list
of do’s and don’t’s for children and adults. They also offer CD’s and provide information about a
